a-team grooming course.
i wanted to skip initally, seriously. i am sick of going to grooming courses.. *counting* including this, it was my 4 grooming course attended.
it's not like i am not totally un-groom la, just tat, i don't dress up. tat is a whole of difference can.
anywhoo, i went and unexpectedly had fun. =)
cos we had hand-on practice, plus freebies, free vouchers and eye brow trimming!! nice.
standard charatered marathon '06.
quite an experience. besides seeing all the popular/ familiar faces
it's actually not that easy to be a drinks station master
the runners are damn fast and vicious
grab, spit, throw
had yucky sticky 100 plus legs...
the crowd flow was endless
kept shouting 100 plus. the crew were complaining that they'll hv nightmares bcos of me =P
my reasoning: we had a big station. front tables: water , back tables: 100 plus
drinks distingushed by cups. if u're running a marathon, how wld u even knw which drinks are which rite? so shout la, den pple will know mah. besides, some might want 100 plus and not water.
=)
other den tat, we had lots of fun and frustration -->2 hrs wait for stupid 5 mins bus ride
ohh yah. to kill the midnight blues, we went bowling!
darren had a little freak accident. all to add to the highlight. whoosh!
free adidas tee and u hv a happy volunteer!
the irony. we didn't even watch the movie. lol
let's volunteer again. =)
today:
mixed emotions. mostly being frustration and anger...
major highlight-> buying the outfit for xmas party
it's pretty~ worth my 40 bucks

i know i'm not suppose to talk abt projects for this post but i need to vent my anger
i'm so frigging pisssed/frustrated/angry/bang-head/kill myself -kinda bad mood
i dun understand... IT'S ONLY A PROJECT WORTH ONLY 10%!!!!
1) proposal was due today. so was trying to print the coloured pie charts and whoa. i almost kill myself...
i only wanted to print 4 pages. sent to print so many times but nth. get aunty to help me and she dunno how to do it. -.-" accidently, pressed the wrg button and the freak printed printed every 19 pages of the project in colour. 0.45 a piece. i tink i click cancel or restart and the freak printed another full set!!! altogether $16.20!!!!
it's not the monetary value, it's the fact that this proposal was only a draft... not the finalised one.
which brings me to my 2nd complaint.
2) we're suppose to get the approval from our client. sent like tuesday and requested a reply by thurs so we can edit and at least get their approval if not we cannot submit our proposal. thurs, no reply. IC went conference. totally freaked! sent to another ic, den tat ic suddenly called to doubt our proposal. MORAL DOWNHILL. den said she will give approval on fri.
today. no approval, lots of disagreements aka REDO.

no approval = fail project
